Hello blogging world! , I’m new to this as this is my first blog account.
Climate change! , climate change affects so many different aspects of sustainable development in which i was blinded to before my lectures this week, as i discovered that the two intertwine in a lot of ways and on so many levels.
For example, Energy generation i believe connects with climate change in numerous ways, some positive like how solar power benefits off the rising tempetures due to climate change. How the extreme weather conditions predicted to come as a result of climate change will help the new methods of renewable energy generation as increased wind speeds will be exploited be wind turbines. These positive factors of climate change will in turn have a positive effect in the environment, however the obvious relationship between climate change and energy generation in my view is one dominated by negativity. The use of fossil fuels for energy generation is one that affects climate change in a massive way in relation to the amount of of carbon emissions emitted each day in the world today as the green house effect in our atmosphere is cause tempeture increases having a bad effect on our environment. This area is one in which i think should be thought of with more caution by us as inhabitants on this planet we call earth , we must our selves on a personal level develop the more positive environmentally friendly methods as it is down to us , we must change our ways no one else is capable of getting us out of trouble. We need to attack these problems on a personal levels and think what are you doing to help your planet? , we must take into account the range of different factors effect the success of our sustainable development and connect to our planet understand it , help it even in the smallest ways. we must have a positive outlook on our future for our world , peoples attitude must change . We need to dig much deeper the simply not burning fossil fuels but interact with the beautiful world around us and the many different types of life. we need to understand the impacts on our actions towards our home both positive and negative ones. however there is no balance between the two i believe, it will never be perfect but in order to enter the road of sustaining our development on this planet we must start with ourselves because no one else can do it for you its our home its up to us and how we see our life and our meaning here. There are many world wide campaigns in action in order to try and improve theses problems but as i have realised this week it must start with you your self its up to us what difference or change will i make , this is something i will ask myself in the coming future as i believe this is the first step and is essential to work towards sustainable development on our planet!.
